Austria Admission and Visa Process

1.Conditional Offer Letter

  1. Information Form
  2. Bachelor Certificate and Transcript
  3. Masters Certificate and Transcript (if any)
  4. English Proficiency Certificate
  5. Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  6. Passport and Photograph
  7. National ID (NID)
  8. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  9. Letter of Recommendation (LOR – 1)

2. Document Attestation ( mygov.bd)

  1. SSC and HSC Certificates & Transcripts
  2. Bachelor (and Masters, if applicable) Certificates & Transcripts
    Cost: BDT 400 per document

3. Austria Consulate Dhaka for Legalization:

  1. Bachelor (and Masters, if applicable) Certificates & Transcripts
  2. Passport Copy
  3. Letter to Consulate

Legalization Fee: If only Bachelor legalization: 23000 BDT

If both Bachelor & Masters legalization: 42000

Spouse documents also need Legalization.

 

4. Home verification by VFS & Legalization delivery:

  • Only for Bachelor Transcript & Certificate – 38000 BDT
  • Both Bachelor & Masters – 48000 BDT
  • Applicant home verification & if any Spouse home verification.

Legalization documents delivery by Consulate takes 1 and half month.

5.Upload all legalization documents and receive LOA

6.Visa-D for Austria

Make appointment in Austrian Embassy in New Delhi.

Study Gap Issue:

Undergraduate:

5 years accepted irrespective of Explanation and Documentation.

Graduate:

Huge study gap accepted (upto 20 years) irrespective of explanation and documentation.

Academic Qualification:

Undergraduate:

13 grade completed from Bangladesh. 

CGPA 3.5 needed both in SSC & HSC.

Graduate:

CGPA 2.5 minimum. 16 grade completed.

Language Proficiency requirement:

Undergraduate:

IELTS=6(5.5), PTE=63, TOEFL=IBT 75, Duolingo=110

Graduate:

IELTS=6.5(6), PTE=63 or more, TOEFL=IBT 80, Duolingo=120

Intakes:

Summer intake – March –April (Application start –November)

Winter Intake-October (Application start from April to June)
